This 5-minute microwave oatmeal is quick, easy and made with simple pantry ingredients. A warm, cozy vegan breakfast that’s ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 + 1/4 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup 
  • pinch cinnamon, optional 
  • 1 tsp flax seeds, optional
  • toppings of choice

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients in a suitable bowl.
  2. Put it in the microwave for 90 to 120 seconds. Check halfway to see if you like the consistency. 
  3. Add your toppings and get ready to dig in!
